Gio’s Club and Bar is the clubroom of the Oscar Wilde Memorial Society Inc., a not-for-profit corporation. We are a community-owned club run by a community elected board, operating for the benefit of gay / lesbian / bisexual & transgendered people.

Gio's Club & Bar first opened for business in 1982. Since then, Gio's Club & Bar has made a name for itself as a home for anyone in the GLBTT community from any sexuality or nationality.
Membership is required to enter the Club. Gio’s Club and Bar is licensed as a private membership club by the MLCC, but we welcome non-members as guests to the maximum extent permitted by the regulations. There is never any problem admitting out-of-town guests.

Members are allowed to bring up to 3 guests as long as those guests are signed in by the member.
V.I.P. memberships are available which entitles members to free admission (except special events). Regular memberships are also available but cover charge applies each time with this form of membership.

All memberships are valid for all of the duration of the current year purchased & require renewal each year. All members of the Oscar Wilde Memorial Society / Gio's Cares are also members of Gio's Cares. Members have voting privlidges at the OWMS & Gio's Cares annual general meetings.
